I need to save transcripts that are done in.docx into a format that can be imported into a captioning tool. The format is simple. Make sure the.txt file is saved with UTF-8 encoding. I tried the usual logic that everyone else around me is doing i.e. File->Save as ->.txt -> and then when prompted, I change text encoding to UTF-8.
All good BUT my new document saves as a blank page of zero bytes. Attached is a screenshot of the encoding.
